Overview
A sprint is a time-boxed team assignment: one track, one team, one due date. Use it when you want shared focus and a bit of friendly pressure - everyone sees the same missions and the same countdown. To give a single person extra practice instead, create a 1:1 coaching assignment. Before you start
- You need the Coach role and at least one team you manage - sprints are assigned per team, not per person.
- A published track must exist in your organization’s Course Library.
Starting the sprint
Open Coaching in the sidebar and click New sprint (top-right while the Team sprints tab is active). A three-step wizard guides you:1
Choose team
Pick the team from the dropdown. A sprint targets exactly one team; repeat
the wizard to run the same track with another team.
2
Pick a track
Sprints carry one track at a time. The Already Certified count shows how
many team members have already earned this track’s certificate, so you can
spot content your team has outgrown before committing to it.
3
Name & schedule
Give the sprint a name your team will recognize in their to-dos, and pick
the due date. JAM recommends a sprint duration of 1-2 weeks.
Tracking the sprint
Your new sprint joins the Team sprints table, where each row shows the track, team, and how many learners are Not started, Started, and Completed, alongside the due date and status. Use the row’s Edit action to change the sprint’s name or due date, or Cancel sprint to withdraw it from the team. What happens next
- The sprint’s track appears in every team member’s My To Dos with the sprint deadline.
- The sprint row on the Team sprints tab updates as members start and complete missions.
- Once the due date passes, the sprint counts as ended - extend it beforehand via Edit if the team needs more time (see Setting Due Dates and Deadlines).
- Detailed per-member progress lives in your team’s progress views.
Troubleshooting
A team member says they can't see the sprint
A team member says they can't see the sprint
Check they’re actually in the team the sprint targets - membership is
managed on the Teams page. Members added to
the team after the sprint started also receive it.
I picked the wrong track
I picked the wrong track
A sprint’s track can’t be swapped after it starts. Use Cancel sprint on
the row and start a new one with the right track.
