Getting Started
How is AI Recruiter different from Jam Coach? AI Recruiter is a streamlined version of the training platform optimized for hiring: shorter scenarios (10-15 minutes), focus on baseline skills and coachability, no gamification, 6-month automatic data deletion, and enhanced privacy controls. It’s designed for one-time assessment, not ongoing development. Can I use my existing Jam training account? You can, but we recommend separate organizations for training and recruiting - this maintains clear data separation and ensures candidates don’t see internal training content. How do I get started? Contact support@wejam.ai to set up a recruiting organization, choose or customize roleplay scenarios, configure scorecards, and get onboarding. Setup typically takes 1-2 business days.Assessment Design
Scenarios are selected or customized based on your sales methodology (cold calling, discovery, objection handling), customer type (B2B, B2C, enterprise), and the specific skills most critical for your role. Jam has a library of pre-built scenarios, and custom scenarios can be created using your actual sales situations in 1-2 hours with the content team. Most clients use 2-3 scenarios per candidate with 2 rounds each:- Short (1 scenario, 2 rounds): ~10 minutes
- Standard (2 scenarios, 2 rounds each): ~20 minutes
- Comprehensive (3 scenarios, 2 rounds each): ~30 minutes
Inviting Candidates
In your Jam organization, go to Teams → Members → Invite Users, enter the candidate’s email, and assign the Member role. They’ll receive an email invitation with login instructions. Include in your invitation: what to expect, time commitment (10-15 minutes), technical requirements (microphone, browser), deadline if applicable, and privacy and AI usage disclosure. Candidates with the Member role cannot see other candidates’ names, results, leaderboards, or any gamification elements - only their own assigned scenarios.Interpreting Results
Navigate to Activity → Team Members → [Candidate Name] to see overall scores per scenario, round-by-round improvement, detailed scorecard results with transcript evidence, and AI-generated feedback. What to focus on:- Learning ability - improvement from Round 1 → Round 2 is the most important signal
- Baseline competency - Round 1 scores across key behaviors
- Consistency - performance across different scenarios
- Specific skills - behaviors most critical for your role
Privacy & Compliance
Jam AI Recruiter is designed for GDPR compliance: clear candidate consent on invitation, purpose limitation (data used only for hiring assessment), 6-month automatic deletion, and all data processed in the EU by Jam Technologies GmbH (Germany). What must candidates be told? That AI is used to analyze conversation skills, that a human makes the final hiring decision, how their data is used and retained, and how to exercise data rights. Jam provides compliant disclosure templates. Works council / union approval: In many EU countries this is required. Jam provides technical documentation, DPIA, and information on AI limitations and human oversight. Contact support@wejam.ai for support materials. Assessment data collected for hiring purposes may not be used for performance management later - this would violate GDPR purpose limitation.Support
- Technical issues: support@wejam.ai
- Account management: Your assigned account manager
- Custom scenario development: Contact your account manager (~1 week, includes consultation, drafting, scorecard design, and testing)
- Candidate can’t access the platform: Check that they clicked the original invitation link, are going to app.wejam.ai for subsequent logins, and checked spam. If still stuck, email support with your company name and their email.
